How to Find Clallam County Sex Offender Information

The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office keeps a record of the information of registered sex offenders in the county’s jurisdiction. The sex offender registry is accessible to the general public and may be obtained on the online sex offender search tool. Offenders’ information may be retrieved through searching within the county area with the location and zip code. Offenders’ information may also be obtained through searches with offenders’ names. At the state level, the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs generates and maintains sex offender information.

How Do I Visit an Inmate in Clallam County Jail?

On-site visitation days are permitted on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. and 1:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. Visitors are only allowed one on-site visitation per week and must schedule before the visitation time. Visitation on Saturdays is limited to inmates with last names starting with the letter A-K. Sunday visitations are reserved for inmates that have their last name starting with the letter L-Z.

The County Jail has some set of rules, for the visitation of incarcerated inmates, that visitors must follow. Visitors aged 18 years and above are required to provide a valid government identity document. Visitors under the age of 18 may provide a birth certificate or other documents that show proof of age. Under 18 visitors are also required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Clallam County Health and Human Services generates and maintains death records in the county. Death records may be obtained from the health department if the death occurred from June 2012 onwards. For death records before June 2012, records may be requested from the Washington State Department of Health.
