How to Visit a Snohomish County Inmate

In Snohomish County Prison, there is no specific minimum number of visits for its inmates. Moreover, inmates can get one free 25-minutes visit each week and visitors can reschedule additional visits at the discretion of the jail official. Also, the number of additional visits an inmate may get depends on the availability of visitation slots. There are three types of visits to a Snohomish County inmate, which are the law enforcement, professional, and non-professional visits, and they all have specific visitation requirements.

The facility provides various options for visiting, including remote visits, onsite video visits, and offsite visits. Notably, the frequency and number of visits depends on the inmate's classification, housing location, and behavior while in custody.

To visit online, an individual will need to register with the jail's Video Service Provider, Homewav. Visitors will need to provide essential information like their full name, home address, and email address. After creating an account with the platform, the visitor must add the inmate to their visitor's list by providing the inmate's full name and booking number on their "Account" section. The software allows users to perform a test call on its website. Before doing so, the user must ensure that their camera, microphone, internet connection, and device are all working effectively.

After scheduling a call with the inmate, the visitor should tap on the “Connect” button on the time and date of the visit and it will transmit to the inmate's video platform and provide a means of communication for both parties.

In addition, the visitation schedules and rules are subject to change, so members of the public are advised to always visit the County Sheriff's Office for updated information concerning visitation. Some acceptable forms of identification include:

  • Resident Alien Card or Permanent Resident Card.
